Really, if you still have some dual boot environment, remove the Windows
partition as fast as you can before it destroys your system.

Working in web development where we are still required to make sites work on various ancient combinations of Windows and IE, and therefore must have multiple OSes running, the way this is done in a professional environment is to use virtual machines such as Parallels or VMware to run Windows.
