Hi Peter,

I ran into Error 256 a while back. I solved it by using a newer version of Lily (the 2.19 branch) installed from the package from the website.

Version ghostscript is 9.15, have also tried 9.20 with the same result.
Lilypond version is  2.18.2

Any ideas??
