I am using it to check tuning of my music equipments.

2. Good suggestion from Piotr.

Has anything started in direction of refactoring the code into
gstreamer plugins?
Once it takes plug-in shape then it would be easier to make additions.

I have a small list of additions:
- support for 22-shruti detection support (this is Indian/Hindustani
Classic music)
- tuned detector for vocal singing for practice sessions
