Hi all,
(I sent a subset of this question a few days ago, no response yet, so
I thought I'd expand it a bit.)
linphone-3 (3.2.1) is spitting out messages like
[h264 @ 0x824245c]Too many slices, increase MAX_SLICES and recompile
The only place I found that error message was in ffmpeg (I am using
ffmpeg-0.5).
However, some other messages on this list seem to indicate that maybe
I should be using the code from the x264 package.
Can some enlighten me on any/all of the following points?
(1) Am I compiling things incorrectly so that I am getting the wrong
x264 code?
1a) if so, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or point me
in the direction of the compiling instructions that make sure
I do The Right Thing?
(2) If using the code from ffmpeg is the right thing to be doing, has
anyone increased MAX_SLICES and created a working system?
(3) And if so, can anyone recommend a particular value that will make
linphone's use of ffmpeg happy?
Thanks.
Jim
