Hi,
Yes that's true.
Probably your modifications are not understood, thus discarded.
However linphonec does not need that the user modify the config file.
Most parameters are accessible through linphonec commands (type help in
linphonec prompt).
I discourage anyone to modify the config file manually, except for parameters
that may not be yet accessible through linphonec shell.
