Unfortunately, in this case this has to deal with linphone...
I reproduce the same problem with "fr".
Indead when choosing the locale from the property window, linphone forces the
program locale with a setlocale(). Unfortunately it does it with "ru" instead
of "address@hidden". "ru" is not known by the libc.
I did this lang selection within linphone mostly for windows users. For linux
it does not make a lot of sense. I recommend not to use it.
In order to revert this forced lang selection, you can simply edit
~/.linphonerc and remove the lang=xxx line in the [GtkUi] section.
I'll try to fix the bug as soon as possible, unfortunately I'm still looking
for a libc function to list all supported locales...
