Hi,
Anyone had problems with overrun in gianfar driver?
My board have two ethernet interfaces (1 GBe and 1 Fast Ethernet),
when I execute a iperf app to generate high throughput data the linux
shows some overrun error and interface eth1 stops.
The linux tried to stop and restart the hardware, but it isn't
sufficient and the below messages appear.
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timeout
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timeout
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timeout
When I execute "ifconfig eth1 down" and "ifconfig eth1 up", the
interface come back to live.
My system configurations:
Processor: MPC8315e
Kernel Version: 2.6.24
Thanks in advance,
Marcos Cunha
