[lwip-users] SOCKS proxy on lwIP

Hello all,
I have lwIP up and running on a Linux system. I added some simple 
applications and everything goes smoothly.
Now I want applications (eg web browser) to get an Internet connection 
via lwIP. I figured the best way to do this is to run a SOCKS proxy 
listening on the OS stack's localhost.
By googling around I found some similar git projects, but I wonder if 
you have recommendations / know good implementations that can help me 
out?
