You don't have a DNS resolver implementation or even lwIP related 
problem, you have a networking understanding problem.
Do yourself a favor and study some networking, some TCP/IP, then try 
some examples on Linux, and then, once you know what you want to do and 
have an idea of how to do it, come to lwIP. It is way much easier to 
understand such a huge subject with Berkeley sockets on a full fledged 
stack, then you can dive into the raw API if you wish.
