LYNX-DEV calling tn3270 client from lynx.cfg

I'm having trouble initiating a 3270 session from lynx.  I have a tn3270
unix client installed and working.  I added the following to my lynx.cfg
file...

        
VIEWER:application/tn3270:tn3270 %s

Given everything from the UNIX OS to lynx to tn3270 is installed and
configured correctly, shouldn't this work?

I'm at a bit of a loss.  I've only recently inhierited this Internet
server and I'm yet a bit green as to all it's inner workings.
