Re the MONspider run, the "maxdepth".

If all you care about is the links themselves (in the bookmark file(s)),
what do you do, set maxdepth to ONE?

In that case, it should run pretty fast?  Fast enough to run it
interactively?  (I think netcom kills off long-running background jobs).
