        Never use raw VMS syntax in file://localhost URLs.  Use SHELL
syntax, with only slashes, as explained in the "Supported URLs" section
of the v2.6 online 'h'elp (that's not the cause of your problem, though).

        Assuming you've compiled Lynx with EXEC_SCRIPT defined, it
should work (does here on our AXP 8-).  However, the command should
be "@sys$scratch:L########TMP.html", so something about your upgrade
hasn't been done properly.  I don't have a good guess on what might
have been done improperly.  Read through the INSTALLATION file and
the userdefs.h and lynx.cfg comments to see if there's something you
should have done but haven't.  Also, make sure you are using a v2.6
lynx.cfg, and not your old one from v2.3.
