Doh!  I think the Majordomo typo bug hit me in a big way. :)  Actually,
that's what I get from trying to post a coherent message early in the
morning.  The information I gave in PARTIALLY correct.  One of my earlier
versions worked this way, but I've since changed things a bit.

Ignore Step 1 entirely.

This will put the variable in there with an empty value which lets things
work the same as they do before this mod using the defaults from the
lynx.cfg, userdefs.h and the -popup toggle.  If you specify a value of on
or off, the following applies:

> toggle due to the order things are processed in LYMain.c.

And this applies regardless...

Sorry for the screwup.  The webpage has the correct description and such
for this...
