LYNX-DEV mail/edit/extract

When I P)rint a file and select M)ail the file, I would like to be
popped into EDT to possibly edit the file (a prompt would be even
better).  I tried redefining in lynx.cfg but to no effect; this is
supposed to override the definition in userdefs.h.  So how can I do this
in 2.5? 

Has this changed in 2.6?  (I still have 2.5 and will wait with upgrading
until I switch to ALPHA from VAX in a couple of weeks.)  I seem to have
noticed a CC prompt in 2.6 somewhere else, or is this a configuration
issue.
