I disagree.

I agree.

Note that, with current fotemods, those will not appear in the LIST any
more IF "Links are numbered" is in effect.

For the record in this increasingly confusing discussion - I have no
intention (of course!) to change the code so that it would create "[LINK]"
or similar for images with ALT="" if IMAGE_TOGGLE is OFF.  I also have no
intention to change the code so that it would _not_ create pseudo-ALT
strings as it does now if IMAGE_TOGGLE is ON.
