Well, I agree that using slang color 7 is better than just underlining...
However, I find positioning the match further down on the screen makes it
harder for me to find the it.  (I am not totally blind, but do use a
magnified image, and so see only a small portion of the screen at a time.
It was easier for me to find the search string when I knew it was on the top
line (or at the current link) and didn't have to scan the whole screen looking
for it.)
I don't know if persons using speech software can identify the highlighted
text, but even if they can, I assume they'd have the same problem.
Just my $0.02 as a (partially) blind user.
