The development versions of lynx 2.7.1 since about June should work
with authenticating proxies (that require user/password). Earlier
versions of lynx will work fine with ordinary proxies.
To use proxies, set http_proxy, ftp_proxy, etc, (and no_proxy if you
have local servers as well) appropriately in lynx.cfg or the
environment. For more details, RTFM.
