I am not sure why you are getting these errors.  I compiled ac-0.93 this
last weekend.  It compiled without a single error, and with only a few
warnings. Are you sure that you are using the latest versions of make
and djgpp?  What do you get when you type "make --version" and 
"gcc --version"?
