LYNX-DEV Home variable for Lynx

Dear listers!
DOes Lynx allow to set a home variable for it to browse files
according to? What I mean is that, for instance, if I have files in
the directory ~/www and all the other files in the subdirectories
under ~/www, can I tell Lynx that even if the paht in HTML code is
given as follows:
<a href="/some_subdir/some_file.html">

It will still start to browsefrom the ~/www?
