LYNX-DEV Adding SSL to Lynx

I'm using a DOS version of Lynx (compiled with DJGPP) and would like to 
add SSL encryption support.

Has anyone done this?  I've looked at the SSL proxy stuff, but I don't 
think the proxy would work under DOS (not without a lot of trouble, 
anyway).  I'd prefer to compile and link the SSL stuff directly into 
Lynx.
