Actually I was referring to the rewrite I did way back when to do away
with, i.e., merge into README, "DESC" and "RELEASE_STATEMENT". I still
have the out-of-date "http://163.51.110.11/lynxdev/SIMPLEDIR.gz";, which
will refresh you on what was done to clean up the top level distribution
directory, and "http://163.51.110.11/lynxdev/README.gz";, which is a copy
of the original rewrite. Except for the introductory paragraph, I think
Klaus pretty much adopted it.

An excellent idea. One way to help get more lines on that help-page
is to take the search engine stuff out.

Perhaps it's a good time to mention my idea that the I)ndex key might
be linked to a local file included in the lynx_help directory, rather
than the rather limited and dated "#define DEFAULT_INDEX_FILE "http://
www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/SDG/Software/Mosaic/MetaIndex.html". The page I
have mapped to the `i' key can be viewed at the following URL. It couldn't
be used as-is because it has a few "kanji" on it, local links and a
leaning to links good for the far east.
        URL: http://163.51.110.11/lynxdev/srh.html
