Hi there, everyone. I have encountered a strange problem with Lynx
Version 2.8rel.2.
Before I installed it, I installed the latest version of Ncurses. I
installed both over a terminal, logged in as root (for access with a
speech synthesizer). Both installations went very smoothly, however,
after I installed lynx, I tried running it. It runs very well, but for
some reason, my enter (or return) key acts as a down arrow key. Instead
of getting a link, it just moves to the one below it, or when I am filling
out a form, it simply does not accept the value. I have gotten it to work
by pushing the tab key (or ^I). Other than that, it works fine.
Here's the strange part. I also have another Linux account on my machine.
Lynx has absolutely no problem with this account. All the keys work
normally. I am using the Slackware distribution of Linux (3.4) and have a
486 DX2 with a speed of 80 megahertz.
Hopefully, I have explained it well enough for everyone to understand <g>.
Guess that's all.
Best regards,
Jason
