LYNX-DEV Telnet Downloading from lynx

 Hello oh great learned ones:
I use a mac se and telnet to lynx from my isp (northcoast.com) to trfn.clpgh.org
How does one use zmodem or kermit from within  ncsa telnet 2.6 to download
files from lynx, I have seached the entire web and all help files faqs etc
for days and there is nothing listed about these protocols within telnet.
Somebody told me about  mac communications toolbox, and there is something
from stalker called port connect. I have zterm and mac kermit can ther work
with telnet? Can com software communicate with the internet, I am trying to
download freeware that is not ftp and cannot seem to get it? I just don't
get it you see-duh? sorry for bothering you humans, I prefer getting all my
info just from inanimate objects but this info does not seem to exist in
cyberspace-jon
