Yes, but.  The more programs out there available to anonymous account
users means that the sysadmin has to keep up carefully with possible
security risks of more programs.  I'd rather just have to watch one
program, Lynx, to be sure it isn't a security risk.  Of course if you're
talking about allowing only the internal line editor for -anonymous, and
letting people use whatever editor they want for open accounts, then
I'm all in favor.
