As one small example of Lynx usage, the community freenet in
Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (see http://www.chebucto.ns.ca )
is based on Lynx, currently using version 2.4-FM but testing
2.7ac-0.36, and has 23,000 user accounts of which about 5000
are active; typically about 4 1/2 million web pages accessed
per month through 72 dial-in modems and telnet.
Also, Dalhousie University in Halifax uses Lynx for student
web access.
