My wife has been telling me how much I am missing, by using
only lynx.
Well, nothing she has shown me has much impressed me,
what with colored ads, slow display, crap along the sides,
little info per screen pixel, inability to download
and reformat two-columns 9-point for printing (works easily
only for pure text), etc.
Until yesterday, when she got me to look at www.braun.com -- re
their toothbrush. Finally, a reasonable use of the gui, via
java or something, via netscrape. It was amazing -- and worthwhile
use of graphic features.
I just pass this on for those in this group who have to design
graphic web stuff -- these guys did a really great job.
Have a look -- you will like.
(No, it did not convince me to stop using lynx as my sole browser).
