As far as I remember, I got colour styles working fine with slang.
*shrug* Perhaps that was code that never got entered into the mainstream
Lynx.

Because things like <li> and <p> were marked as SGML_EMPTY, so setting
a style for those had the style turned off straight away, rendering it
useless. *shrugx2*
