Unfortunately, after rebuilding lynx with a -g, when I return to mail.yahoo.com
I don't see the problem so I don't know if it was a sequence of events,
a consequence of the code generated from the compiler, etc.

I will continue to run with the -g version of lynx though hoping to
encounter the bug again...
