Possibly so, if folks don't mind having the information scattered about in
various files.

As for *user* access to the suplementary docs, I would be willing to bet
that at installation time, *most* sysadmins don't bother with installing
the extra docs via the install-doc step (probably hard emough to get them
to type install-help :-) ).

The new (?) install-full should help in that regard, if they can be broken
of the habit of just saying "make install", and letting it go at that ...

As may be, I leave decisions like whether to split-out section VII of the
INSTALLATION doc into a separate file, up to those who get $paid$ to make
them ... :-) ... Tom ...?
