announcement: beginning fourth year of lynx-dev digest

Well already three full years have gone by since I started
maintaining a digest of the lynx-dev mailing list. New for
this year (beginning with Jan. 1999) is that,
        1) non-text content (base64, uuencoded, html, enriched,
           etc.) will be removed, with a message put in to that
           effect, along with a pointer to the flora archives.
        2) compression will now be done by bzip2.

The index page for that is:
        "http://www.irm.nara.kindai.ac.jp/lynxdev/ldev-idx.html#1";

Since a whole month is usually < 400Kb, it may still be useful to
some people with slow connections, or those trying to catch up with
their reading fast.

One way to use it is to grab it with Lynx and then pass it off to a
viewer. (In "mime.types" put "text/x-archive arc", and in
"mailcap" put "text/x-archive; /usr/local/bin/most %s".  Besides a
viewer, you'll have to have bzip2 to do the decompression.) That
way if you are tight on disk space, but your isp lets you use /tmp,
you might be able to read 'n' run. Whatever. Enjoy.
