lynx-dev LYNX: search order: aaa.org --> www.aaa.org.edu (???)

Lynx should first of all recognize that ".org" is a "thing"
that is LIKE ".edu", ".com", etc, and not blindly append
an .edu to whatever happens to be there (that hasn't succeeded
in being looked up so far).

Second, lots of sites actual names do NOT have the "www." prefix,
these days, it seems.

So, what to try when someone gives you what they think or have been
told is the site name, eg "aaa.org"?

Would hope that if aaa.org didn't succeed as-is, lynx would try
"www.aaa.org" WITH NOTHING ELSE added.

Lynx doesn't seem to work that way.

---

Anyway, maybe it's time for someone to look at part of the code,
in light of what's being used for site-names THESE days.

(what's wrong with the www? Why do they allow that to be omitted?
Couldn't that place that registers site names disallow names not
prefixed by www? Oh well, marketing is everything. $$$$$.)
