lynx-dev LYNX: doing "]" (HEAD) on lynx doc & manual

I do a "?", and get to the help-page.

So, I click on the lynx-manual.

Then, noting the 2.8.2 (nice!), I also want to see WHEN it
was last updated.

So I do "]":

    sorry, document is not an html document
    (or some such msg)

I ask myself, well, just what IS this thing.  So I do "\".

LOOKS LIKE HTML TO ME!

Please, what am I missing about this?
