Hi Gentlemen
I've been using lynx for several years without problems, but
now I find that lynx is dying when downloading some particular gifs.
The gif downloads fine, but lynx dies and my script get into 'read
waiting' for 180sec,
each time my script is accessing lynx:
open(PIC,"$lynx -source \"$www\"|") || return "NULL";
while(<PIC>){
#download from STDIN into a file
# etc......
}
I've shorten it down to loading it into stdout in command prompt in win2000:
lynx.exe -source
http://spray.nettavisen.no/htmlstatic/tegneserie/nemi/img/22.12.02.gif
If I use redirection, I only get a little unusable piece of the gif.
It is the same on older versions of lynx aswell.
My lynx.cfg is as plain as possible.
Any help very appreciated.
