I don't find that to be a problem.  Only one copy of Lynx will be loaded
into memory, and with Linux, you can easily open a separate virtual console
for the whole set of Lynx sessions.  You can use screen as an external
program (see the External Programs section in your lynx.cfg) to load a
page into a new window in screen (these screen windows act as virtual
consoles within a Linux virtual console).  This may also work with other
Operating Systems (I believe FreeBSD has a similar feature), and I often
do it even in an xterm window in X.
