hi

just like to say that this program is getting even better than i thought possible, but heres a thing that could be improved:

however soulseek seems to work just fine in a techical aspect, the lack of certain features in the gui's render it almost impossible to use. due to the simple nature of the soulseek network, it is absoulutely necessary to get information on the size of remote peer's queue, since there is none of the hi tec features we're used to, like fingerprinting and multisource. it is thus up to the downloading peer to make the choice from wich source he'd like to get his files, but this assessment can't be made based on the current way mldonkey's gui's handles the soulseek information feed.

so, the question is, can we expect that the gui's will be changed in the near future in order to display the queue size of soulseek peers? i feel that without this, a lot of effort to bring slsk to mldonkey would just be useless. soulseek is, because it is simple, one of the most efficient ways to find a very wide range of music.

another soulseek-specific feature is the ability to "download directory", not a crucial but very helpful function.

this is probably not just the case of slsk, i guess that the experience of gnutella and other networks could be improved by a slightly more adaptive gui. different networks, different uses.

thanks!
