Just change providers to ones having stated that they will in all cases
respect 
their customers privacy and never impose quotas (hint: free.fr)

P2P cannot be secure: since the goal of the game is to allow other computers
to
find you, anybody running a client can log other people IPs (or log
information
allowing tracing you).

At least using not the standard port may avoid simplest detection (or at
least 
some of the ISPs implementing low priority for the P2P traffic)
