can not compile monit-4.2.1 on solaris 8

can not compile monit-4.2.1 on solaris 8 |

Installed gcc, flex, openssl.
The path is
/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/ucb:/usr/ccs/bin
./configure is fone.
When I type make, I got this error
#make
flex -i 1.1
m4: bad opetion: -P
make: *** [lex.yy.c] Broken Pipe
make: *** Deleting file 'lex.yy.c'
Help is really appreciated.
