I user this, so a can get all the msg in cell phone, is a nice format.
in /etc/monitrc
set mail-format {from: address@hidden
subject: $SERVICE $EVENT at $DATE
message: Monit $ACTION $SERVICE on $HOST.}

msg result:
Monit alert tomcat on www.server.com.ar.
'tomcat' process is running with pid 3161
