I have the following libboost packages installed
http://rpms.mandrakeclub.com/rpms/mandrake/devel/cooker/contrib/i586/libboost1-1.31.0-1mdk.i586.html
http://rpms.mandrakeclub.com/rpms/mandrake/devel/cooker/contrib/i586/libboost1-devel-1.31.0-1mdk.i586.html
When I try to configure monotone I get the following error message;
checking for errno.h... yes
checking for stdint types... stdint.h (shortcircuit)
make use of stdint.h in idna/idn-int.h (assuming C99 compatible system)
checking if setlocale() and nl_langinfo() works... yes
checking for pthread_mutex_lock... yes
checking libboost_prg_exec_monitor library... configure: error:
libboost_prg_exec_monitor failure
See `config.log' for more details.
the details are;
configure:7966: checking libboost_prg_exec_monitor library
configure:7980: g++ -o conftest -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing conftest.cc
-lboost_p
rg_exec_monitor >&5
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_prg_exec_monitor
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure:7986: $? = 1
configure: failed program was:
So it appear it cannot find a need library. However the boost packages I
installed seem to provide this. Is there a problem with boost packages in
Mandrake? or is this a monotone problem?
thanks for any help,
Nick
