OK, a little more investigation shows that the problem isn't so
great. Basically, what I said only applies to those who currently
have revision e018e6f9690d07166a0eecef6627493445db12ad (which has been
dubbed "evil Richard's evil revision" on IRC, a dubious honor...) in
their work directory.

So basically, do not update to that revision, or if you have, use the
modified hook I shared just to get out of that revision. When you
have updated to another revision, you can safely toss the modified
hook (unless someone else wants to play as well).

My intent behind adding a testresult cert was to tell my server what
revision it should pick up to get a working monotone snapshot to
build. I'm about to set up a community service that provides
snapshots, both as source tarballs and Debian packages. I may have to
figure out a different way. Ideas are welcome.

Cheers,
Richard
