Hi,
I just played a little with monotone 0.20
(5edf953e984ab5587f745cabcfddcbd0eab08714), and did the following:
: ; monotone --db=./mono.db db init
: ; monotone --db=./mono.db pull venge.net net.venge.monotone.ssh
It went fine, told me it dropped all branch certs that weren't the one
I chose.
The interesting part was looking at the result with monotone-viz. If
you do the same operation take a look at
734c39bb873f8fc83b8d54a7ad8e7a028864e4fc. The first thing that hits
me is that there's no branch cert at all.
Is this intentional?
There was a period of time when the rework of netsync would instead
make sure I got *only* the revisions in the branch I chose and nothing
else (I looked at it with monotone-viz and saw those ancestors that
didn't seem to have any actual data). Was that something desirable or
not? I liked it, but YMMV.
Cheers,
Richard
