This is not high priority, but maybe it is an indication of a bug
you might want to investigate.
I have:
on Linux 64 bit monotone 0.23 - monotone 'client' machine
on Linux 32 bit monotone 0.23 - monotone server machine
A database "configuration.db".
The database was created with monotone 0.19 and synchronized
successfully at that time. Afterwards the Linux 64 bit machine database
was not used for a long time. Afterwards I did the following steps
(This is from memory so I can be wrong)
1 - migrate db on 32 bit machine to 0.23
2 - Keep on working on the projects on different machines synchronizing
with my server. (not working on the 64 bit machine)
3 - migrate db on 64 bit machine to 0.23
4 - on 64 bit machine execute
monotone sync 32-bit-machine-name "*"
After running this I get tons of
monotone: warning: discarding revision data packet ..... with unmet dependencies
monotone: warning: discarding revision cert packet ..... with unmet dependencies
Now
A - I think this should not happen,
B - The database on the 64bit machine is incomplete, it does not contain
my latest work.
As I said, this is not important, I can just copy the database from the 32 bit
machine and start over from scratch.
But is this known?
Shall I keep the database for inspection?
Thanks for reading :-)
