Neat!  This is perhaps a place where branch meta-information might be
useful.  I know we have the following page for manually tracking this
sort of thing:

        http://venge.net/monotone/wiki/BranchStatuses

but being able to ask monotone for info about the branch would be
quite useful.  This is probably where the whole VersionedPolicy would
fit in nicely.
