Okay -- strange.  Could you run this again, with the --debug switch,
and send _all_ of that output?  That will enable slightly more verbose
debugging than the normal dump file contains...

So, something like
  $ mtn --db mtn.db pull venge.net "net.venge.monotone*" --debug 2>debug-log
