Hi,
In my cvsimport-branch-reconstruction branch I've run into a problem:
the test 'importing_cvs_with_vendor_imports_and_branches' aborts with
the following output (from tester.log):
mtn: converting 116 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 114 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 8 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 106 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 21 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 13 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 7 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 9 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 10 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 124 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 3 bytes from ANSI_X3.4-1968 to UTF-8
mtn: converting 4 bytes from UTF-8 to IDNA ACE
mtn: converting 3 bytes from UTF-8 to IDNA ACE
mtn: converting 4 bytes from UTF-8 to IDNA ACE
mtn: converting 3 bytes from UTF-8 to IDNA ACE
mtn: monotone.cc:264: usage constraint 'N(false)' violated
Looking at the line and assertion in question, I'm puzzled about what
that's supposed to mean. Why is it converting from UTF-8 to IDNA ACE at
all? And BTW, what is IDNA ACE?
Help appreciated!
Regards
Markus
