Seems to run fine now.  Can you do similar treces for the following?

charset:idna_encoding                         FAIL
paths:basename                                FAIL
paths:system                                  FAIL

(I have some suspitions that the latter two is caused by the same
thing that makes mtn crash when not in a workspace, so I would suggest
focusing on the first of the three first)
