What you are doing wrong is, problably, that you expect something to
happen, when in fact it is not supposed to 0=)

AFAIK "mtn add" checks the 'x' bit, but is not checked thereafter, so
you should set it explicitly (I guess this could have something to do
with the fact that Windows files are always executable? mhh, dunno really).
It's probably a documentation issue.
