Fixed. I'll dump out some data for 0.39 in a few days that includes kernel 
Here's my oprofile run script:

    #!/bin/sh -e
    exec 2>&1
    trap : TERM

    opcontrol --start --vmlinux=/usr/src/linux/working/linux/vmlinux 
--separate=kernel --callgraph

    kill -STOP $$

    opcontrol --shutdown
    opcontrol --deinit
