Both branches look very good - thanks a lot for the changes!

One final thing I didn't noted last time - the --dry-run counts are
outputted in the progress stream, together with all the other progress
messages, but are these really progress messages? For example, if I want
to supress all the netsync chatter, I'd like to be able to do

   $ mtn push --dry-run -q

and still get the estimates reported. I think it would be better to
directly print to stdout, what do you think?

Other than that you have my "go" for the merge. Good work!
