Hello, I got this in the Debian BTS.
As I said to the submitter, I don't see this as an "important" bug, as I
really doubt there's that "huge" number of mc users. It's the first
report we see about this, after all, right?

A workaround could be implemented, of course.

To save a document in nano, you have to hit CTRL-O. But if you are under
Midnight Commander, then this keystroke, instead of saving your document,
flips back to mc's window.

It makes using nano a nuisance, because you can't save without exiting the
application.

Another keystroke should be chosen, considering the huge amount of people
using mc.
